This absolutely amazes me. People taking to the streets to protest the very people that give them the ability to keep a roof over their heads, food in their belly's, and cable t.v., so they can watch indoctrination programs on how the boss screws you. Someone approached me yesterday at work and talked about Unionizing, and I told him that he had lost his mind. People do not get it. Why do you think companies are shutting down and moving overseas. Unions and taxes. Since when did a person have the right to work somewhere? A person opens a business using their money, and they can hire or fire anyone they want. Who says you should be given a vacation that the boss pays for. You want a vacation, save your money and take one. Not making enough, get a second job.
For those who do not know, May Day is synonymous with International Workers' Day, or Labour Day, which celebrates the so called social and economic achievements of the labour movement. As a day of celebration the holiday has ancient origins, and it can relate to many customs that have survived into modern times.
Yet another holiday kidnapped by Unions. How a festival that celebrates the flowers and purity turn into this.
