In the 15 years of gallup polling, this would be a first. The question has been asked over and over again, and as of May 15, 2009 the poll has now switched.
51% percent of Americans considering themselves “pro-life” and 42% considering themselves “pro-choice” demonstrates a significant change in the electorate on this hot button issue.
