A good time to close the borders would have been ten years ago. If someone were trespassing on your property, as the illegal aliens are trespassing in the US, would you stop to ask them, "Do you have a fever?". Close the borders today? Yes, and start a program to send the trespassers back. Oh, gee that's right, I forgot, the Democrats are think they will make great voters in 2012 after they get amnesty, free medical care (at our expense) etc., and citizenship.
