Here you are, sitting at the nice desk in the Oval Office at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue on a nice spring day in 2009. You are President of the United States. You were elected mainly by looks, age, and intelligence level, considering that know one ever votes on the issues anymore. You should feel pride at the fact that you beat out several other people because of the three items above, mainly intelligence. As President, one of the most important jobs is to get to know who your allies are, and other Countries Leaders. After all, in the four years in office, you will be in contact with a lot of them, especially the leaders of the G8. (France, Germany, England, Canada, Italy, Japan, Russia, USA).
Even if you are not the President and you are a normal citizen who goes to work, does not accept entitlements from the Government, and fights to protect his family and Country, you have a little knowledge. You watch some news, whatever the preference, (FOX, CNN, ABC, NBC, CBC, BBC, MTV, VH1, and BET…LOL). Most people that follow the news can tell you about some of the more important leaders in the world, simply because they are on the news from time to time. Granted, you may not be able to name the leader of Angola, or Sri Lanka, but France or England.
Let us see, England is Gordon Brown,
Moreover, France is?
OH, I think I have it…
Yeah…Jacques René Chirac
Oh wait, no he was replaced in 2007.
Who could it be…?
Nicolas Sarkozy
Well hell, I might know who it was and enjoy playing the game, but let us say that most people in the USA did not know, because they would rather watch Entertainment Tonight then the news. Those people are really in trouble then, because Sarkozy was on Entertainment Tonight. You see, beyond real world events and news, he got into the tabloids when he married a Top European Model, (lucky S.O.B.). I will give the American people a pass. You have learned something knew today. Nicolas Sarkozy is the President of France.
Now, let us take a very intelligent man who aspired to the top position at the largest, most poorly managed company in the United States….No not AIG, the US Government, CEO (President of the United States! I hope you know who that is….Obama). He sent a letter to the President of France the other day. If you click on the title to this post, you can read the entire story from the U.K. Telegraph Newspaper. In the letter PrezBo writes, "I am certain that we will be able to work together, in the coming four years, in a spirit of peace and friendship to build a safer world."
It sounds like a great letter, very emotion filled letter with lack of logic…very Democrat of him. There is only one problem. He addressed the letter to Jacques Chirac, not to Nicolas Sarkozy. Here is the leader of the United States, the man of great intelligence who cannot give a speech without a teleprompter; the very man who disgraced Gordon Brown when he visited…Now cannot even name the President of France. As Carlos Mencia would say, “DE DAH DE” What a
f-Ing joke. The worst part is that you, the people elected him.
At least George knew the names of his allies.
Was it all a joke as a means to say that Obama prefers Chirac, a Socialist, to Sarkozy, a Conservative?
Chirac......................................................... Sarkozy
