One amendment would have kept the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) out of the 2010 Census, effectively barring taxpayer dollars in the bill provided to the Census Bureau from being disbursed to ACORN. The other amendment would have barred any taxpayer dollars in the bill from being provided to ACORN.
Just encase you have been hiding under a rock the past year, ACORN is responsible for over 400,000 fraudulent voter registration forms nationwide, and their main goal as set forth by their founder is to put as many people in the United States (both citizen and non-citizen) on welfare and other Government programs, thus in order to bring about the economic collapse of Capitalism and bring about a Socialist or Communist form of Government.
ACORN is currently under investigation in 14 states for voter fraud and has frequently paid employees on a commission basis to register voters, a practice illegal in many states. According to an October 2008 article in The Economist, during the last election cycle, “in Orlando, home to the Magic Kingdom of Disney, Mickey Mouse tried to register. In Indiana there was an application from a sandwich shop called Jimmy Johns. Authorities in Nevada were surprised to receive voter registration forms from the starting line-up of the Dallas Cowboys.”
Yet through all of this controversy, it has received over $53 million in taxpayer funds. And thanks to Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank and his liberal friends s an additional $8.5 billion that could be accessed by ACORN. President Obama, a former ACORN employee, has hired ACORN to “partner” with the Census Bureau to complete the 2010 census.
(AND LIBERALS SCREAMED BLUE BLOODY MURDER WHEN HALIBURTON WAS GIVEN FIRST BIDS DURING THE BUSH/CHENEY YEARS) ---Will Liberal bitch as much as they did back then. No, don't think so.
This bill is now in Senate hands, and it is important that we as Americans do everything possible to keep ACORN away from the Census. Its already bad enough that the census was moved from the Commerce Department to Raum Emanuel's office.
Contact your Senators and tell them to keep ACORN out.
