This is exactly what Hoover and Roosevelt tried after the Crash of 1929.
It didn’t work then and it won’t work now!
And, unless we have another world war
and Europe gets destroyed again,
(WWII and rebuilding Europe is what finally ended the Great Depression)
we will be suffering the economic repercussions of this debacle for a generation or more.
